How to Install Mirrors (Simple Guide)

Mirrors are heavier than they look — and must be installed safely.

1. Choose the Mounting Method

Options:

• Mirror clips

• Adhesive

• J-channel

• Brackets

Adhesive must be mirror-safe.

2. Mark the Position

Use a laser or level.
Check the height is correct.

3. Install Clips or Channel (If Using Hardware)

Fix securely into:

• Studs

• Masonry

• Solid backing

4. Apply Mirror Adhesive

Use vertical beads.
Never use general silicone — it damages the backing.

5. Lift the Mirror Into Place

Use suction cups for safety.

6. Support Until Set

Hold in place for 24 hours.
